Zach’s passion for bikes has been life long. From mastering tricks on his BMX bike to mountain biking to road racing, if Zach wasn’t on his bike, he was at the local shop learning how they went together and keep them running smoothly. He began work at his local shop at 14 and continued there throughout his high school years. He then went onto wrench at Campmor for 5 years. After hearing that a mechanic was needed at Cyclesport he introduced himself one saturday morning on the Cyclesport shop ride and applied for the position.
Besides working on bikes Zach also races them. He began racing mountain bikes competitively in 2006 at age 17 and in 2008 began road racing. Zach is a USCF Category 1 racer in both road and mountain disciplines.
Zach also enjoys fishing and ice hockey. As a skilled hockey player from many seasons of travel youth hockey he still continues to play today.
